John Edward Ford 61 of Abilene passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 11:50 AM. Funeral Services will be held at the V.A. cemetery Friday September 21, 2018 at 10am.
John Ford was born February 3, 1957 in Bryan Tx, to Willie Ford and Addy Ford. John then relocated to Abilene TX, where he graduated from Abilene High School in 1975. Ford went and severed in the military for a period of time before he went into the TDC Academy in 2002.Where he started his career in the correctional field. John Edward Ford retried in 2014. His hobbies included taking care of his grandchildren, and loving his family unconditionally.
John was preceded in death by father; Willie Edward Ford, and nephew; Willie Steven Ford.
Left to cherish his memories are: mother; Addy Ford, children; John Ford, Robert Ford from Abilene, and Elizabeth Ford from North Carolina. Brothers; Larry D. Ford from Killeen TX, Vincent Lee Ford (Marshey) from Rockwall TX, Steven Luis Ford (Debra) From Grand Prairie TX. Sister; Gail D. Freelon Grand Prairie TX, and 10 grandchildren.
